On day two I weighed in at 180.5, so I'm down 3lbs in 3 days of the VLCD. Sorry I didn't get to blogging yesterday. We had spent entire day in the car. My son lives with his dad in Louisiana and I had him for Christmas/New Year's. We had to meet his daddy 1/2 way yesterday, which makes for a 9 + hour drive...ugh! But, on a good note, we did excellent in keeping on protocol. :) We packed up our lunch in advance. Doug had steak and I had chicken (cold) which wasn't bad at all. We also brought radishes and ate those too. It wasn't bad at all. I even thought ahead and packed a lunch for my daughter, so there was NO temptation to stop along the way. We did good, if I do say so myself.
So we made it through today as well. Let me start by saying that last night was a rough one for me. The sleep was not good. I found that I was aching all over and I tossed and turned most of the night. At around 2:30am I decided to take a tylenol pm and that did the trick. I was out til 8:45am. I have decided to switch my vitamins around and take them in the evening. I am hoping that the potassium at night will kill some of the cramps I seem to be having.
Today for lunch was cold chicken, on 1 1/2 cups of lettuce, with lemon juice drizzled on top as my "dressing". Doug had a burger and lettuce. For supper I had a burger (on the Foreman grill) with 2 tomatos sliced thin. I upped my veggie tonite to stop the late night cravings. We shall see....
Also, we are used to having something sweet on occasion, so we picked up some sugar free lifesavers. We count the calories as part of the diet, so hopefully they won't screw anything up.
Lets hope for some good numbers tomorrow!
